To access Medtech Online resources, you are required to first create on online account. To create an account, you must provide up-to-date customer information such as customer number, password, customer name, primary contact, designation, e-mail address, city, postal code, country/region and telephone number. You may review and modify this information at any time by signing into your Medtech Online account and editing your account profile. We may request other optional information, but we clearly indicate that such information is optional. You can review, modify, add, or delete any optional account information by signing into your Medtech Online account and editing your account profile.
An administrator or practice manager, or any other person authorised by the customer who has provided Medtech with personal information about any other person must ensure that they have appropriate permission to provide us with that information. Each administrator or practice manager that provides us with personal information about any person represents, warrants and agrees that they provide (and are authorised by the relevant person to provide) to us permission for all personal information that they provide to us to be used as described in this Privacy Statement.
Storage of information
Any information or records you maintain with a Medtech Online account will be hosted on servers in a secure environment by a commercially reputable hosting vendor using best-practice industry standards and security techniques.
How we may use your personal information
Medtech collects and uses your information to operate, improve and deliver Medtech Online, and to carry out the transactions you have requested. These uses may include providing you with more effective customer service; making Medtech Online or its services easier to use by eliminating the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information; and performing research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies.
Medtech may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, such as website hosting; packaging, mailing; and sending information about our products, special offers, and other new services. All payments made to Medtech via the online credit card payment facility are denominated in the currency specified on the form at the time of payment.
The online credit card payment facility enables customers to pay invoices received from Medtech. Accordingly, payments made to Medtech using this online facility are non-refundable.
