Medtech has been given the green light to reactivate the NES service for Medtech customers.
The process is expected to be seamless as already demonstrated by BETA testing at a number of practices.
Ross Tanner, executive director of Medtech Global, thanks all Medtech’s practice partners, managers and users for their patience and understanding since the NES service was disabled.
He says he is confident Medtech’s software engineers have robust monitoring processes in place and the Medtech NES application is secure.
“It is important to remember that there was no data breach of patient medical data,” Mr Tanner says. “However, Medtech sincerely regrets any inconvenience this issue has caused for our customers”.
“The reactivation for customers on Medtech32 and Medtech Evolution will commence from May 8. Our teams will be providing a full description on how to install the security patch, with release notes, and our customer service team will be available to help those who need assistance”.
