New Version Released: Medtech32 Version 19.0

Version 19 Rollout Updates

• 4 August 2010 - Medtech32 Version 19 CD-ROM Release has been distributed to all practices. If you have not received your CD-ROM by Friday 6th August, please log a call with the Customer Service Desk 0800 2 Medtech (633 832), option 1.
• 29 July 2010 - Medtech32 Version 19 is being released to practices in the Northland and Auckland region from 30 July 2010. These practices can expect to receive their CD-ROMS early next week.
• The date for the release to the remainder of the country will be advised next week.

Version 19 contains the following enhancements and fixes:

• When prescribing old medications – a warning notification is given which provides a list of alternative drugs that can be prescribed.
• Enhancement to drug interactions including cross sensitivity checking.
• Addition of medication search function for drugs that are safe for use in pregnancy and sport.
• Ability to record and indicate No Known Allergy Status of a Patient
• Ability to record Drug Class Allergy Warnings for a patient
• CPI Smoking Status Read Codes and Screening Term
• Ability to Graph Screening Terms
