Medtech32 Version 19 upgrade will change workflows and significantly improve prescribing and patient safety.

Version 19 contains the following enhancements and fixes:

• When prescribing old medications – a warning notification is given which provides a list of alternative drugs that can be prescribed.
• Enhancement to drug interactions including cross sensitivity checking.
• Addition of medication search function for drugs that are safe for use in pregnancy and sport.
• Ability to record and indicate No Known Allergy Status of a Patient
• Ability to record Drug Class Allergy Warnings for a patient
• CPI Smoking Status Read Codes and Screening Term
• Ability to Graph Screening Terms

The CD-ROM containing the Medtech32 Version 19 release will be distributed in a phased rollout starting today.
