Medtech32 - Version 7 Release!

Thanks to the research and innovation of the Medtech Software Development Team we are now ready to release Version 7 of Medtech32. We have taken into consideration your valuable feedback and Software Improvement Suggestions (SIS) and have incorporated them into the latest release.

In Version 7 you will notice significant enhancements such as:

Medicare Claiming

Improvements have been made to the Medicare Online Claiming and Bulk Bill DVA Paperless Private Claims. Users now have the ability to complete diagnostic and pathology claiming for Private, Bulk Bill and Repat invoices, if appropriate for their practice.

Footers for Medicare Claiming and Assignment Forms

At the request of users, a “footer” has now been added to the bottom of all Bulk Bill, Repat, and Patient Assignment and Claim Forms. The footer includes the patient name, patient number, provider name, date and time of processing of the assignment form, as well as the assignment form number.

Attachments Manager

Attachments Manager is a module which provides a link from within Medtech to an attachment saved on PC’s (desktop) hard drive, thus allowing access to digital photos and documents. The advantage of a link connection is that documents are only stored on one PC. However it is important to set this up correctly as the pathway is defined when making the link. If the pathway is not the same for each PC, then attachments will not be visible for some users. Having all documents stored on one PC ensures that there is a centralised storage facility for attachments, and allows data to be backed up more efficiently.

Patient Information Sheets

Users can now view Patient Information Sheets with any version of Adobe Reader (Version 5 and higher).

Quick Bill Management

The Quick Bill Management screen enables the user to view a list of all un-invoiced Quick Bills currently stored in the database.

Un-invoiced Quick Bill Report

A new report has been added to Medtech to enable the user to print out details of the un-invoiced Quick Bills in the Quick Bill Management screen.

Date of Birth displayed on Patient Scripts

Version 7 allows the Patient's Date of Birth to be displayed next to their name on the script printout when prescription is printed.

Out of Memory Errors

These errors have been resolved in a newer version of Medtech32.
