Medtech is an ASX listed company with presence in Melbourne and Brisbane. Its successful merger with Australian Healthcare Technology Limited means Medtech Global is now the second largest solution provider for Australian healthcare professionals.
In February 2008, Medtech acquired the “MD Analyze” solution. This tool enables medical professionals to record and track patient outcomes against clinical pathways. It allows for up to 15 billion clinical concepts (previously kept as free text) to be codified and recorded electronically. MD Analyze is currently being implemented hospital-wide at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
It already has a share of the primary and secondary healthcare markets and is also deployed in reference sites including Yale Medical School and the Universities of California and Chicago.
Medtech's customers include Medwin, Compudoc and Rx Practice Management in Australia all of which are supported by Medtech and its channel partners. Medtech also provides software development, helpdesk support, training, project management and consultancy services.
