Version 6.14 Build 04 Update (November 2016)

This update includes both enhancements and fixes. Please ensure you download and read the Release Notes prior to running this update.

The following is the key enhancement included in this Patch update:

  1. Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT): Customers will have to register their bank account details with Medicare and have their benefits directly paid to the accounts via EFT. Cheques will no longer be issued to Medicare patients/claimants

The following issues have been fixed:

  1. An issue wherein fee amount in the Derived Fee Details populated with 0.05 cent higher or lower than the actual amount When a provider registered with LMO created a DVA Invoice has been resolved
  2. An issue where the maintenance expiry date in the OHS field of the Patient tab of the Patient Register showing a year greater than the actual date after sending the Rx Audiology claim has been fixed
  3. An issue related to sending and receiving SMS has been fixed
  4. Table Store Procedures that were not included properly in the upgrade from 6.10 to 6.12.99 has now been resolved
  5. An issue with the header of the Accounts window displaying a wrong header has been addressed
  6. A warning message is now displayed when a non-vocationally registered practitioner configures a vocationally registered item
  7. All patients that are either newly added or have some details modified in Rx Medical, all changes are now automatically updated in Medtech as well
  8. There was an issue where Patient Register screen was not getting refreshed after adding a Newsletter. This has been fixed
  9. A performance issue around the options Go to Next Week and Go to Next Month have been addressed
  10. An issue where if the user accidentally pressed the spacebar after updating the Date Column in the Appointment window has been addressed
  11. An issue wherein when a saved Patient Letter was opened, it would show the current date rather than the saved date has been fixed
  12. An issue where the colour for the Confirmed status in the Appointment Book displayed in grey rather than in the colour selected by the user has been fixed
  13. An issue where the Provider was being wrongly displayed in the Appointment Book Preview has been addressed
  14. An issue where user was unable to set a colour for the Notes column of the Appointment Book has been fixed
  15. Application threw an error when patient’s usual debtor was set. This has been fixed
  16. Despite selecting family members for whom the address change needs to be actioned, the changes did not reflect. This has been addressed
  17. A new log has been introduced which records sufficient information whenever a time block gets deleted
  18. An issue where patients continued to receive SMS even after the Appointment was cancelled has been rectified
  19. An issue where users where unable to change Designation range start on date to Monday after changing it to some other day has been addressed
  20. A performance issue with navigating using Go to previous day has been fixed

Version 6.13 Build 03 Update (January 2016) and CDA Bridge (January 2016)

IMPORTANT: All previous versions of CDA Bridge are superseded by CDA Bridge Update (February 2016), which is released with Rx Version 6.13 Build 03. Please upgrade to Rx Version 6.13 Build 03 and install the latest CDA Bridge Update (February 2016)

Rx Medical V6.13 Build 03 - User Release Notes

This update includes both enhancements and fixes. Please ensure you download and read the Release Notes prior to running this update. The following are the key enhancements that are included in this Patch update:

  1. Medtech has introduced three new patient card columns – Medicare No, DVA No and Pension No. in the Appointment List View window
  2. In-line with the 2015 Medicare Patient Name Validation rules, several rules have been implemented in the Patient ‘Surname’ and ‘Given Name’ fields to restrict users from entering special or invalid characters
  3. Rx-MT32/Evolution Clinical Link which enables integration with Medtech32 clinical application has been enhanced to support the newly launched Medtech Evolution application with Rx Medical
  4. Medtech Data Transfer Service has now been enhanced to auto-start when server reboots, so as to ensure SMS service is uninterrupted
  5. Unique screen IDs have been introduced to help customers calling the Medtech Support Desk to report a problem easily
  6. User can now delete externally linked file from the Register tab

The following issues have been fixed:

  1. The ‘Configure Visible Columns’ settings of the Appointment Book was lost post upgrade and users had to redo the configuration after the upgrade. This has now been fixed
  2. Users were unable to enter the Fund Universal Patient Identifier (UPI) number field in Patient Details window. This has now been fixed
  3. In the ‘Book View’ and ‘Standard View’ of the Appointment Book, the last few appointments were not visible to the users screen was maximised. This has been fixed
  4. In the Invoice window, upon, the user needed to press the Enter Key twice to finalize entering a Service Item. This has now been fixed
  5. An irrelevant comment was printed when reprinting an invoice from the Enquiries tab. This has now been fixed
  6. When ‘Banking by Location’ option was unchecked in Practice Details window, those payments were not displayed on the Receipts List report. This has now been fixed
  7. In Auto Reconcile Claims window, Medicare Claims were not displayed when searching for the debtor ‘Medicare’. This has now been fixed
  8. Despite the option ‘Automatically reconcile claims upon receiving EFT reports’ being selected, Auto-reconciliation happened only for partially paid claims (from Medicare) but not for the fully paid claims. This has now been fixed
  9. Plus, many more assorted items too numerous to list, have also been resolved and can be found in the Resolved Items section of the Rx Medical V6.13 Build 03 Release Notes.

Version 6.12 Build 99 Update (April 2015)

This update includes both enhancements and fixes since the release of Version 6.10 Build 92 for General, Audiology and Osteology Editions of RXSQL. Please ensure you download and read the Release Notes prior to running this update.

The following are the key enhancements that are included in this Patch update:

  1. A new functionality called ‘PCEHR Assisted Registration’ has been introduced to enable patients to be registered for an eHealth record with support and guidance from those Healthcare Provider Organisations involved in their care and whose guidance they trust.
  2. The enhanced Secure Message Transfer functionality now processes other messaging   formats as well as the standard HL7 format.
  3. In order to comply with the 2014 Client Adapter, the following statement, declaration and reports are modified:
  • Bulk Bill Assignment Advice (DB4)
  • DVA (Veterans’) Treatment Service Voucher
  • Medicare Online DB1 Declaration
  • Statement of Claim and Benefit Payment
  • Lodgement Advice

Version 6.10 Build 92 Update (February 2014)

This update includes a new utility called Secure Message Transfer which will provide the ability to transmit electronic letters to your external Providers.  This update also includes several fixes since the last release of Version 6.8.88 for the General, Audiology and Osteology editions of RXSQL.   Please ensure you download and read the associated Release Notes prior to running this update.

The new Secure Message Transfer utility can also be set to run as a Windows Scheduled Task.  Please read and follow the instructions in the Rx Medical SMD Utility – Task Scheduler Configuration document on how to set this up.  If you require assistance with this process, please contact the Medtech Helpdesk on 1300 362 333.
